From above, a landscape becomes a composition of shapes. Water gathers into quiet pools, widens into deeper currents, and moves through the land in paths shaped by the terrain around it.
The Lagoon Vistas Set draws from this aerial perspective across four distinct forms. Deep smoked-plum moves through expanses of warm mineral white, while muted aqua appears as smaller, isolated lagoons. Each piece captures a different view of the landscape, from broad flowing passages to quiet pools held within the surrounding land.
In the elongated tray, the landscape extends beyond color into the surface itself. Subtle changes in height created through hand-sanding form a gently lowered area where the deep plum forms meet the mineral white. The shift is intentionally understated, becoming visible through changing light and perceptible through touch.
Across the collection, color, form, and subtle shifts in surface create fragments of one imagined terrain, each revealing a different view of the same landscape.
